LectureSight is awesome and getting better!
Stephen Marquard
LectureSight (http://lecturesight.org) is an open source Java application that uses OpenCL to analyze a video stream in real-time and track the presenter by controlling a PTZ camera.
Over the last 2 years, LectureSight has matured from a prototype research system to a production system running in over 20 venues at the University of Cape Town and University of Manchester. We present our experiences running LectureSight at scale, and some recent improvements which make it easier to configure and calibrate the system, and ensure that it is running optimally.
