Moving around in Vienna

In Vienna you can use the underground, busses, trams and S-Bahn (train).

You can purchase tickets at the airport, at any metro-station and at a Trafik (kiosk for newspapers and tobacco).

Congress Ticket

An easy and convenient way to sort out travelling in Vienna is by booking a congress ticket online. You can already do this at home before starting your journey. There is a small discount on the regular price.
The congress ticket is valid for three days on all public transport in Vienna including trams, busses, underground lines and S-Bahn trains. If you wish, you can even add the journey to/from the airport into the city centre by CAT (City Airport Train) to your congress ticket.
